The Caribbean offers a room only basis, bed and breakfast or bed and breakfast with evening meal.

We offer a complimentary upgrade when available. If you book a single room, we may upgrade you to a four poster or double room if it is available on the day!

The Caribbean is a family run business (3 brothers and 1 sister) that has now entered its third generation. The hotel has been in the family since 1967.

The property was built In 1880 has now undergone thorough extensive regeneration taking the property back to its original Victorian form.

Access Statement.

Ramps can be provided for access to the property. The main entrance doors (2) are four feet wide. The hallways are five feet wide. There are 14 steps to the first two bedrooms. A further six steps gives access to five more bedrooms. All bedrooms doors are two and a half foot wide.

Wheelchair access is widely accessible on the ground floor where the dining area, games room, reception and bar are located. The door frames are six foot wide.

The Caribbean also supplies a Deaf Guard for the hard of hearing. This device is placed under the pillow. The Deaf Gaurd will vibrate sufficiently enough to wake the hard of hearing in case of a fire. This device can also be used as an alarm clock.
